Desert Etudes
Three pieces for solo piano.
After spending much time in the desert, following my husband around as he took beautiful photographs, I began to appreciate the stark landscape. I wrote these pieces from 2012-2013. The cover drawing by Eric Garcia inspired the second movement “Hidden”.
